Dogs commonly have the following odours:
1) Faecal odours: When food reaches the intestinal tract, trillions of bacteria begin decomposing it. This in turn gives off foul smelling metabolites, the most potent of which are: Hydrogen sulphide - which smells like rotten eggs. Carbon disulphide - which smells like rotten radishes. Ammonia - with its own very distinct sharp odour like smelling salts.
2) Wind: This is really an extension of the faecal odours. The gases are produced by the bacterial build-up and are released as wind.
3) Mouth odours: These are often caused by decaying food debris between the teeth, in the oesophagus, or on the mucous membrane. Odour is also absorbed from the intestinal tract into the blood and then released through the breath.
4) Smelly coats: Just as the absorbed odours from the intestinal tract can be released through the breath, odours can also be released through sebaceous glands.
How Fresh Pets™ works while caring for your dog:
Many people spray "perfumes" that try to mask the unpleasant odours with no consideration for their pet's sensitive nose. However, Fresh Pets™ prevents odours rather than masking them. It binds to the odour molecules so that the odour is no longer detectable by a human nose.
We have had a leading professor of microbiology test Fresh Pets™ on the most common bacteria of the digestive tract to ensure that the gentle balance of gut flora is not upset.
Can Fresh Pets™ solve every dog odour problem?
There are a few odours that we suggest you do not try to solve with Fresh Pets™:
1) Where your dog rolls in faecal matter.
2) Where your dog swims in dirty water.
3) Where there is evidence of dental decay or gum disease it is advisable to have your vet deal with the underlying problem.
HOW TO USE Fresh Pets™
You simply spray Fresh Pets™ onto your dog's regular wet or dry food and mix it in thoroughly. The dosage required will depend on the pet size. With choosy eaters, start with one spray per day and slowly increase the dosage over the course of a week until you reach the correct level as shown below.

"I didn't think anything could really get rid of Buster's smelly coat and his bad breath and I was absolutely amazed that Fresh Pets actually does work as promised"
Carol Hounslow, Bucks.
"No litter tray smells at all after only two weeks. Now we can keep YoYo's tray indoors again"
T Upton, Surrey.
"After starting to use Fresh Pets, I find that people comment on Barney"s beautiful coat as it always has that “just bathed” appearance. He smells good and the house does too. I have also discovered that Fresh Pets keeps Barney healthy and reduces the brown patches on the lawn."
Judy Armstrong, Essex.
"All their litter trays are inside. With 3 of them in the house, the smell can be a bit... over-powering. Fresh pets has totally taken care of that. One of the cats tended to have bad breath too - which has just vanished (thank goodness!)"
Lynn, Lanarkshire.
